All-inclusive resorts don’t have to be just for the adults. There are many excellent all-inclusive resorts which provide a well-deserved, upscale escape for the adults as well as providing the facilities you need for your little one.

What should I look for in a resort?

Everyone’s needs will be different, but for a list of things to think about, please refer to our A Guide to an All-inclusive Vacation blog post. It’s one of our all-time most viewed web pages and is full of useful information for your trip. Just be sure to come back here when it’s time to pick a resort! :)

There are so many resorts out there, how do I choose?

When we sat down to pick the resort for our first all-inclusive vacation with our 18 month old daughter, we were a little overwhelmed by the number of resorts and destinations out there. Thankfully, we’ve been to all-inclusive resorts many times prior to having kids and know what to look for. We spent countless hours on TripAdvisor, reading blog posts and reviews on Expedia. Finally, we applied the knowledge we’ve gained from travelling with our kids around the world over the past 4 years to come up with our list of the best resorts for families with a baby.

4 Star resorts

“Our pick”

After our extensive research, this is the resort we chose for our first all-inclusive trip with our 18 month old daughter.

Why we (the adults) loved it: This resort is one of four interconnected Grand Palladium resorts, giving us access to nine À la carte restaurants, five buffet restaurants and seven pools. We loved the natural jungle feel of the extensive pathways throughout the resort, which enabled us to take our daughter for long nature walks every day.

Why our daughter loved it: She loved the kiddie pool, the Baby Club playroom, the fish ponds (she called them “Shisshies”) and of course, the beautiful white sand beach.

You will love: This resort is upscale and classy, yet makes you feel welcome with a child. Enjoy premium drinks and 24-hour room service, for the nights the baby needs to go to bed early. The list of included baby amenities is so long, they mean it when they say, “just bring the baby”.
